Construction Toys: Creativity Unleashed was opened from Aug 1- October 26, 2024. Guests learned about the history of construction toys and enjoyed a Port Moody inspired display, masterfully created by the VLC, Vancouver’s Community for Adult Fans of LEGO®.

There was a fun interactive for guests- “make your own creation station” where guests built their own creations and added to our display, there also was a children’s play area where they were free to play with building blocks of a large variety.

We want to thank the Port Moody Foundation who has been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life through a generous grant. We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire and connect with our visitors through the history of construction toys, and seeing everyone’s unique sculptures come to life.

Guests were busy getting creative. For $5 guests built special creations and become part of this fun exhibit!
