Calling all building block and construction toy enthusiasts!

Our new exhibit, Construction Toys: Creativity Unleashed, will open July 30, 2024. It features a Port Moody inspired building block display, (masterfully created by the VLC), an insightful video and display detailing the history of construction toys, a “make your own creation station for $5 ” where you can build and add your own building block creation to our display , and a children’s play area where they are free to play with building blocks of a large variety.

We want to thank the Port Moody Foundation who has been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life through a generous grant. We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire and connect with our visitors through the history of construction toys, and seeing everyone’s unique sculptures come to life.
