Men’s Shed Societies started in Australia and New Zealand in the 1990s to provide men a place to connect with others while working on various projects. The mental health benefits of mentorship and support they provided quickly spread worldwide.

Port Moody now has a Men's Shed operating out of the
PoMo Museum. Meeting's are every Thursday.
